The Government of Canada helps employers facing hardship as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, through two different programs: Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS 75%) and TWS (Temporary Wage Subsidy 10%). Businesses that does not qualify for the new elected program CEWS (where a rate of 75 per cent of the first $58,700 normally earned by employees is applied), can apply for the original 10% subsidy program TWS.
